Repeater Audio Streaming

The CWVWA 2 Meter repeater is now streaming on the internet you can now listen anywhere. It is in the early phases and currently only listen in on analog conversations, possibly adding reception of the Yaesu Fusion Digital in the future. There is a delay of about 30 seconds from the actual audio source by the time it reaches the internet.

New members list posted

The current list of members has been updated as of today.

Only current members with all dues paid are listed, if you are no longer on the list and would like to rejoin the Central West Virginia Wireless Association you can redo so online or at our monthly meetings, new applicants are voted in each month, and special monetary circumstances are considered and voted on as well.

Dues paid allow us to keep the club up and running with any expenses on the repeater, utilities and operating costs. It also allows us to add new features, upgrades and opportunities to the club and ultimately beneficial to the area community’s that we serve.


2016 Picnic

The date for annual Central West Virginia Wireless Association picnic has been set for September 10th 2016 at Norwood Park in Clarksburg.  Picnic starts around noon, bring a covered dish and bring your own drink and enjoy some fun,  Family is invited and welcome,  Additional information and details will be posted soon…   Check back for updates.

Tower Site Cleanup

The scheduled date for the CWVWA tower site cleanup has been changed to Saturday April 2th, 2016. The meeting location will be at the Compton Lanes Parking lot on old Bridgeport hill road in Clarksburg at 10 AM, Members and volunteers dress accordingly wearing old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.  Please bring any equipment you may have to help with the clean up such as chain saws, rope etc….
