ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) Harrison County, West Virginia
The Harrison County ARES Net which has been inactive for several years and will be reactivated on the HAMTALK system. Originating from the HUB repeater in Clarksburg, WV 146.685 Mhz with pl tone 103.5
- The first Harrison County ARES net will be on Friday, May 20th 2016 at 21:00 (9 PM EDT)
- It is an open NET to all Amateur Radio Operators and check-ins will be accepted via any repeater on the HAMTALK system.
- Net control will be K8TPH, EC(Emergency Coordinator) for Harrison County, WV.
- K8TPH will call the net on a trial basis.
The net will be called each Friday for one month. If there is a reasonable participation then the net will be continued.
This is an abbreviated net used for ARES information only, equipment testing, and signal report.
There will be no rag chewing on the net.. This is just a check-in & basic brief reports. by giving your CALLSIGN, NAME, and LOCATION only.
